Barbara (Klein) Mills who says

"Virtually anyone who has a surname of Borden, Burden, Bourdon or similar names should be able to trace their ancestry to spelling of Robergia and Francis Bourdon in France in the 1100's and back as far as Francis DeBourdon for whom I don't have any dates but he was father to Peter DeBourdon born in 1135 in Borden, Kent, England...You would find you are connected to the Borden Dairy family and yes to famous Lizzie Borden believed to be a crazy ax murderer said to have murdered her parents in their home among other famed people. In my family, I descend thru Richard Borden married to Mary Walker Earle who's daughter Hope married into the Merrihew family in 1695 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts and my Merrihew line continued all the way til my great grandmother married a McLane in 1888 in New York."

Becky Stokley Hayes (Rigdon) who connects to Sarah Borden (1692 - 1762)

Lisa (Mitchell) Valdez who connects to George Burden (1814)

Jeanette Rogers who connects to Jean Bourdon (abt. 1610 - bef. 1647)

Sue Hall who just thought this would be a way to harness Burden/Burden energy, descends from Richard Borden Sr (1596 - 1671) thru Mathew Borden

Note Richard goes back to Edmund Borden (abt. 1480 - 1539)
